Various hololive Members to Take Part in Official Minecraft Japan Tournament
The event is a 3-hour tournament featuring PvP, PvE, and ore gathering, where teams will try to survive and gain points by doing any combination of the following:
Defeating players from other teams
Defeating hostile mobs (Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, Ender Dragons, etc.)
Delivering ores to the delivery points
Defeating the bonus mob
Some changes have been made since the last time hololive participated in this kind of event, as there is less of a farming aspect this time around.
GIGANTIC POLAR BEAR: Bonus Mob
A giant version of the Polar Bear mob will occasionally appear somewhere on the battlefield, and the team responsible for killing it will receive 1,000 points.
Some special additions to this event include Santa Claus and Snowballs.
Santa Claus
A traveling merchant dressed in red, accompanied by reindeer, will drop presents as players approach. From these presents, you can randomly obtain ores such as diamonds and emeralds!
Snowballs
In this event, snowballs not only have a knockback effect but also deal damage! These may also prove useful in fights against the Ender Dragon.
Christmas Tree
At the center of the event map, players can find a large Christmas tree, but without decorations.
As players deliver ore to presents (chests) at the base of the tree, the tree's level will start to increase, and with more Christmas decorations added!
Regarding PvP, players can gain points by defeating other team players, but they can also lose points by being defeated themselves. Also, points will be deducted if they accidentally kill a teammate.
Despite PvP being enabled, items won’t be lost on death!
