An Introduction to hololive TODAY
Welcome to the first blog post of hololive TODAY! This website is a passion project that was recently imagined with the goal of spreading hololive news on the web. Inspired by preexisting news sources such as Holonews on Twitter and Reddit, the hololive subreddit, and the official hololive website and talent news sources, hololive TODAY seeks to increase the visibility of hololive by collecting and presenting news, stories, and breakthroughs on a single website.

What exactly is hololive TODAY?
hololive TODAY aims to bring a hololive-centric news outlet outside of the usual media used in the VTuber sphere, namely YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit. This is a fan-created, fan-dedicated website dedicated to bringing all hololive-related news, stories, and breakthroughs to a central hub of information. From Shirakami Fubuki’s Magikarp fishing ventures to Nanashi Mumei’s late-night karaoke streams and even YAGOO’s presence on Forbes Japan, this news blog intends to cover it all.
What makes hololive TODAY different from existing forms of news and media related to hololive?
Like other media, hololive TODAY centers around the world of VTubers, specifically hololive VTubers. Unlike other media, hololive TODAY provides news to you through means outside of forums, social media, or video/streams. The ‘hololive’ and ‘HOLOSTARS’ holo-production websites do offer news segments in their respective categories, but the information is separated between two different websites, additionally separated between JP and English-focused news.
hololive TODAY aims to combine all news coverages of hololive production into one news website. This includes hololive JP, HOLOSTARS JP, hololive ID, hololive EN, and HOLOSTARS EN.
What kind of content can I expect from hololive TODAY?
hololive TODAY will bring you news dedicated to hololive production talents, events, and COVER corp. related stories, as well as other information related to hololive and its subsidiaries. This website produces material directly referencing official Hololive sources such as streams, social media, or statements. It should be emphasized, however, that this website should NOT be considered an official entity of hololive, COVER, or its subsidiaries. They do not write, maintain, or directly contribute to this website. Therefore, information coming from this website should NOT be considered an official release by hololive, COVER, or its subsidiaries. This site, after all, is a fan-creation, dedicated to relaying news and stories related to hololive.
OK, but what kind of content should we expect?
All things hololive! Including—but not limited to—hololive news, stories, and information related to the talents, company, and affiliations. Things like new generation announcements/debuts, 3D debuts, outfit/costume reveal streams, official merchandise releases, collaborations, music releases, live events, concerts, and subscriber count goals. Other topics covered include holoAlt, model updates, AR/VR technology updates, COVER corp. notes and mission statement updates, policy changes or updates, and other news-worthy segments. Occasionally, VTubers, content creators, individuals, and entities outside of hololive can and will be discussed, but usually within the context and relation to hololive, COVER corp., or another hololive affiliation/subsidiary.
Why hololive TODAY? And why a website?
hololive TODAY intends to provide a news outlet that is separate from the usual media of YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, etc., where hololive already has a strong presence. By creating this news website, hololive TODAY aims to expand this growth on the world-wide-web itself. A fan-created, fan-dedicated news blog relaying hololive news, stories, and breakthroughs in a single, central hub.
