First up, we have the main chunk of the new year’s festivities, the hololive Year-End Special!

hololive COUNTDOWN LIVE 2024
Fans were treated to a duo 3D concert planned for the final hour of 2023!
This is the hololive side of the Count Down Live, featuring many talents for the performance segment.
The special New Year’s episode of holo no Graffiti makes its return this year, featuring an appearance from all talents of hololive! That includes JP, ID, and EN. The end part of the episode leads into the final 35-second countdown into the new year.
Additionally, the Shuffle Medley that was introduced last new year makes its return this year, in the “Shuffle Medley 2024”!
After the Shuffle Medley, the final 3D performances were held by the Hoshimatic Project group!
The Hoshimatic Project is a performance group led by Hoshimachi Suisei, featuring the following talents:
Group 1: Hoshimachi Suisei, Hakui Koyori, Natsuiro Matsuri, Aki Rosenthal, Tokino Sora, Momosuzu Nene

HOLOSTARS COUNTDOWN LIVE 2024
On the HOLOSTARS side of the Count Down Live, we were also treated to a 3D Live Performance by the HOLOSTARS JP talents!
We are welcomed at the start of the live by none other than HOLOSTARS English -ARMIS-, which include the talents Jurard T Rexford, Goldbullet, Octavio, and Crimzon Ruze!
Participating talent in the 3D Live include:

The HOLOSTARS 3D Anime makes its return for a New Year’s edition, featuring all of HOLOSTARS. Both JP and EN members make an appearance in this anime, leading to the 10-second countdown to the new year at the very end.
To conclude the HOLOSTARS side of the COUNTDOWN LIVE, the 3D Live Performance continues with 2 final songs, one of the songs being HOLOSTARS’ introduction song “We are the HOLOSTARS!!” followed by an extended version of the original, “We are the HOLOSTARS & UPROAR!!”, that includes separate HOLOSTARS group UPROAR!! to the mix!

Ayafubumi’s New Year Variety Special
After the countdown and into the new year, the hololive production Channel hosted a 3D after-party featuring Nakiri Ayame, Shirakami Fubuki, and Ookami Mio!
Several guests make an appearance in 2D including Fuwamoco, Anya Melfissa, and Akai Haato, and other guests join in 3D for a couple of special segments including Sakura Miko and Takane Lui for the New Year’s stretch segment, and Robocosan for the Rice Cake Pounding segment!
The stream came to a pause as a strong earthquake (7.5 magnitude) struck the west coast of Japan during the third hour of the stream. Due to the ongoing situation, the stream was halted and later canceled to prioritize safety for all netizens affected.
