hololive TODAY Returns to Anime Expo 2026
We at hololive TODAY have returned from Los Angeles for another year of Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center! While there was no standalone hololive production booth this year, we made it our mission to visit as many hololive-related booths as we could across the venue.
Anime Expo is the largest anime and manga convention in North America, hosted by SPJA. This year’s activities ran from July 2 to 5, and exactly like our coverage of Anime Expo 2025, we watched and observed all kinds of passionate fans in the anime, manga, video game, and VTuber industry gather in celebration of their niche mediums in Japanese entertainment.
Cosplayers, artists, photographers, journalists, and your average anime and manga enjoyer. All under one roof, all sharing the same space, all living in the moment.
Beyond the convention center, there were plenty of other hololive-related activations going on like a collaboration with ramen chain Shin-sen-gumi Hakata, as well as a Mori Calliope pop-up with Anime Jungle located both inside AX and in Little Tokyo. More on those later.
Of course, we can’t forget hololive English 4th Concert -Serendipity-. We’ll be dedicating a separate article to our coverage there, so look out for it!
We spent the weekend bouncing between booths, meetups, activations, and concerts, and below is our full recap of everything we saw at AX2026, along with a few extras! Below is a quick look at those AX activations.

HYTE x Ninomae Ina'nis at iBUYPOWER's Booth: Special Coverage
iBUYPOWER Booth, West Hall #2342
We start our recap with special coverage: HYTE and iBUYPOWER invited us again this year for a tour of their new lineup, including a new collaboration with hololive English!
If you’re familiar with HYTE’s iconic Y70 Touch Infinite case, they introduced a collaborative version of the case themed around Ninomae Ina’nis from hololive English -Myth-!
The collaboration case was on display at the iBUYPOWER booth all weekend, showcasing its Royal Purple color way and glass panel art from Rosuuri and Ina herself! The case has a serialized back plate and Takodachi details in the trim.
The touchscreen on the case displays an interactive 3D model of Ina, and it can show her in her idling animations and reacting to gestures. The display also shows a Takodachi icon when booting the PC.
Along with this case, there’s a matching keycap and desk pad bundle. 155 keys, ANSI/JIS compatible, same purple color scheme, plus a 900mm x 400mm desk-pad featuring Rosuuri’s art.
The pricing for the HYTE x Ina collaboration case starts at $499.99. For the keycap/desk pad bundle, it’ll be $134.99. For fans outside of the US and Canada, both the case and the bundle will be on pre-order for now.

Other than the Ina collaboration, iBUYPOWER also ran a Sakura Miko Collection Giveaway at the booth!
Anique x hololive English "Diner Caravan"
Anique Booth, West Hall #2328
Anique's "Diner Caravan" line of merch features hololive English -Advent-, Ouro Kronii, and Mori Calliope. Themed around the classic American diner, the girls were casted as diner staff. All art was illustrated by Shugao-sensei.
AX-exclusive bundles were available in person, with online sales opening sometime soon via GONKBONK.
At the front of the booth, life-sized standees of Nerissa Ravencroft, FUWAMOCO, Shiori Novella, Koseki Bijou, Kronii, and Calli gave fans the opportunity to take pictures. This was easily one of the busiest hololive-related booths all weekend.
AmiAmi x hololive English Serendipity Merch on Sale

Other than the merch sales, there was a Wishing Wall on the outskirts of the booth, giving hololive English fans the chance to leave messages and “wishes” they might have for themselves or for the talents as the concert drew nearer.
FEEL TECH x hololive English
FestivAX JPN Booth, South Hall #2214
FEEL TECH's booth offered something genuinely different from the merch-focused tables surrounding it. Fans had the chance to participate in a five-minute live demo experience built around next-generation haptic sharing technology.
Fans got to try the device alongside footage of concert performances, syncing physical sensation to what was happening on screen under the tagline "Feel what your favorite artist feels!"
Rimi Star Production's Booth and Pliffin Gacha

If you were hoping to grab a pull and missed it, Rimi Star Production will be at OffKai Expo 2026 with the same gacha at the booth.
On display and next to the gacha were bigger, new, and different-styled plushies of the same four talents, Fubuki, Raora, Kronii, and Bae, along with the previous collaboration plushies of FUWAMOCO!

Here’s some extra photos from our Anime Expo 2026 weekend!
Final Thoughts
Without a dedicated hololive booth this year, AX 2026 for hololive fans was geared more towards collaboration booths and artist alley. But that alone says a lot about how far hololive has grown in its overseas influence and partnership opportunities here in the West.
So much to see hololive-wise inside and outside the venue, and pairing it with Serendipity happening just a few miles away made for one of the most packed hololive weekends LA has seen in some time.
Speaking of, we’ll also be publishing a Serendipity-focused article really soon! Look out for that one, since we may have something special in store…
Personal Afterthoughts
Despite being preoccupied with different events, activations, and meetups inside and outside of the venue, Anime Expo this year was still really fun.
Just like last year, I think there not being a dedicated hololive booth was fine, since it gave me a chance to visit other booths and panels going on.
I was able to attend a panel hosted by nyarla, writer of popular video game Need Streamer Overload (Needy Girl Overdose in Japan).
nyalra is actually a big hololive English fan, and after asking him a question about discovering hololive, he answered that it was one of the ways he’s trying to learn English. I even got to take pictures with mine and his Gigi Murin plushie (he actually covered it in his social media posts and even in his personal blog).
I had the chance to connect with old and new acquaintances on the show floor, learning about their booth and their collaboration opportunities with hololive production.
I think I’ve found a good middle ground in my coverage, making sure to cover the things I need to cover while not burning myself out.
As with previous Anime Expos, all the fun really came down to connecting with friends and the community on the things I love and enjoy. So I’m thankful to be part of the hololive community, and I’m grateful to be able to help other fans in some way in their own activities during the Anime Expo weekend.
For now, that's a wrap on Anime Expo 2026. Here’s to the next one!
