It's widely considered that an IP being adapted into a Funko POP! is a strong marker of mainstream and pop-culture recognition.

As former Funko CEO and current CCO Brian Mariotti noted in an interview with License Global: "Pop culture is booming, and we set out to be the alpha to omega for everything pop culture."

From Marvel's Spider-Man and DC's Batman, to Star Wars, Disney, and globally recognized anime franchises such as Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and One Piece, hololive production VTubers now join a roster of powerhouse icons and household names in entertainment within the Funko POP! ecosystem.

Funko keeps its edge in pop culture by having a broad and diverse character lineup from across media, as well as its ability to identify and invest in emerging trends. So the addition of hololive talents to its catalog speaks volumes about COVER and hololive production's continued growth—not only as a major IP holder, but as a globally recognized entertainment brand.

These figures will be available for pre-order soon on the Funko website and Amazon, with pre-orders already live through select retailers like GameStop, Hot Topic, and Entertainment Earth.
