Fan Project Spotlight: Suisei Support Ad at JR Yokohama Station

A Star That Never Dims
Hoshimachi Suisei's story never fails to invoke a feeling of inspiration. She went from being someone who, in her early days, spent years working multiple jobs and barely making ends meet just to become a VTuber, to now being one of the most famous and recognizable names in the space.
That journey is exactly why Suisei fan project account @Hoshimachi1223, also known as botato in the community, is organizing a support ad to celebrate Suisei's upcoming tour.
botato has also worked on a support ad earlier this year, back in March, to celebrate Suisei's 8th anniversary and birthday. So when Suisei announced her "Once Upon a Stellar" arena tour, spanning four prefectures in 2026, botato knew exactly what needed to happen next:
“I worked on a previous project for Suisei's Birthday in March and it was super fun! I think I carried the momentum from that with me to this project...”

A Shining Comet
As of September 5, 2026, the fundraising goal for this ad was met.
Actually, believe it or not, the ad was funded even before it went public, thanks to Bean, who through her seven Sui Mochi, funded the ad in its entirety!
If you'll be attending the concert in Yokohama, you won't have to worry about missing the ad, as it will run from September 7 to 14, 2026 (JST), located at JR Yokohama Station, tracks 9 and 10.
Fun fact: The "Once Upon a Stellar" concert will be hosted at K-Arena Yokohama, the same venue that hosted her "Supernova: REBOOT" concert!
As for the rest of the team behind this project: @iraifol served as the illustrator, @stargazermellu as the designer, and Meitaa as the communication lead.
Together, they created a beautiful illustration of Suisei looking back at the viewer while holding a star that shines brighter than everything else around her.

A Story You Can't Forget
Suisei's journey shows that with determination, patience, and hard work, even the roughest diamond can become a brand-new, shining Comet. And sometimes, all it takes is a fateful meeting.
That's exactly how botato, the project's main organizer, brought together this team of talented individuals to create this ad, having met at concerts or other hololive-related events.
