hololive’s Sakura Miko, Mori Calliope, and Gawr Gura selected as appointees of “Tokyo Tourism Ambassador”

A new PR program was launched by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in an effort to increase tourism and spread information about Tokyo attractions and destinations.

16 new ambassadors were appointed for this program, and all of them come from various walks of life. Chefs, movie producers, cosplayers, and many others! A full list of the ambassadors can be found here.

Included as ambassadors are none other than hololive JP’s Sakura Miko and holoEN’s Mori Calliope, and Gawr Gura!

The inauguration ceremony for the new ambassadors will start on February 13th, marking the official start of their duties and responsibilities!

Sakura Miko tweets about her participation in the ceremony in her latest tweet.

She even meets and “high fives” Tokyo’s Governor, Yuriko Koike.
